Historical path

FVG ENERGY evolves constantly. Here are some important stages in our historical path:

1998
A major Italian company in the marine industry begins production and distribution of electrical/electronic materials such as stand alone inverters, battery chargers, charge controllers, splitters and accessories to complete the first isolated systems (Stand alone systems).

1999
The marketing and distribution of the first low-efficiency photovoltaic modules starts in Europe.

2001
The first relationships with emerging companies in the photovoltaic sector outside of Europe begin.

2002
The plan to develop the FVG ENERGY brand starts. This brand was to be applied on their own range of photovoltaic modules for high quality Stand Alone systems.

2003
Studies for the future production of the 36 and 72 series of cells for 12 and 24 Volt systems starts.

2004

The production and sales of the first 75 W modules of the 36 series cells and 155 W of the 72 series cells.

2005
Production is intensified and expanded to the 80 W and 165 W model range.

2007
The new FVG Energy srl is constituted. This new company obtains the IEC61215 and Class II certificates on the 36 and 72 cells series.

2008
FVG ENERGY opens a production unit in China and seeking greater competitiveness and quality and bringing the Italian expertise to the "cradle" of world Photovoltaic production. The internationalization process of the brand starts. The Shanghai office is opened. This office will look after emerging markets and the Chinese market.

2009
FVG ENERGY builds the production facility and offices of its current location in Carlino (UD). The Italian market expands but the company continues to pay attention to foreign markets and starts up sales relationships with Belgium and Southern Africa and involves the major states of the European union such as Germany, France, and Spain as well as other markets such as the Emirates, India, Cameroon and China. FVG ENERGY widens it module production range by inserting the new series of poly and mono-crystalline 6-inch (156 mm) cells. Obviously the company does not skimp on the quest for perfection and offers customers one of the most popular high-quality modules on the market. FVG ENERGY turns into a Joint Stock Company.

2010
The great increase in requests results in the doubling of the production site in PRC that affirms a 60 MW production between mono and polycrystalline modules, with a monthly capacity exceeding 5 MW. The Italian production department is transformed into a research and development laboratory for new modules. The company obtains ISO 9001/2008 certification and prepares for ISO 14000 certification for the year 2011. The new series of modules FVG 72-156 mono and polycrystalline, with modules over 300 W, the series FVG 96-125 with modules up to 270 W and the new 84 cells with modules up to 230 W, are also certified.

2011
From the beginning of the year a new production site in the Shanghai region (PRC) has been active, bringing the total annual production capacity to 150 MW. The opening of a Representative Office in Sydney for the Australian market. Strong drive for the internationalisation of the FVG ENERGY brand on all markets.
